Slow Drag is our ode to 70’s soul music and without 70’s Black cinema, we wouldn’t have some of the baddest 70’s soul soundtracks like Superfly, Trouble Man, Coffy and The Mack. So it’s only right that we celebrate the best of the decade’s Black films.
Cinema & Jukebox returns!
Pull up to Ernie’s In The Cut on Thursday, November 21 for the Cinema, a feature selection of classic Black film. Space will be limited so RSVP is required.
After the flick, bring your best 70’s songs to plug in for the Jukebox. Get a chance to play DJ for the night and show off your impeccable taste.
